Open Access

Investigación en Educación Médica (Research in Medical Education) is fully committed to the principles of Open Science. We maintain that scientific knowledge generated within the fields of medicine and health sciences should be a public good, accessible to the entire academic community and society at large, free from economic or geographical barriers.

The journal adheres to the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities (2003) and the General Guidelines for Open Access Policy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Publication fee

The journal promotes open access to its content, ensuring that authors do not incur costs associated with the submission of manuscripts or the publication of their research. This policy is supported by funding provided by the budget of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, through the Faculty of Medicine. Consequently, all articles are available immediately and permanently, facilitating their consultation and download in PDF and HTML formats.
