Abstract

Mr. Editor:
Scientific publication is the main means by which the results of research are shared and disseminated. Scientific journals are responsible for perpetuating the process through the display of these results so that readers can analyze, interpret, replicate and solve the various uncertainties that were once a research problem.
Thus, the need arises for the scientific community to develop skills, methods and propose theories on the realization of standards that allow improving the flow of research directed to scientific publication. However, in the same way as these standards are proposed for the development of a project and research article, are there standards for the selection of researchers? The question allows us to ask ourselves again what should be the profile of the researcher? Is the quality of the scientific production accompanied by the academic profile or the results of the research only?
